O.BBa presents Korea's authentic dish, DDukBoki with MaggoLLi
O.BBa suggests the leisurely pleasure of DDukBoki and a glass of MaggoLLi!
Hi! all! ππ
Seeing the title, those of you familiar with 'Culinary Class Wars' probably guessed it right away, didn’t you? Yes, you’re correct! The idea is borrowed from Chef Edward Lee, who took runner-up with his dish Leftover DDukboki Dessert Ball, paired with Maggolli, Korea's rice wine.
At the authentic Korean restaurant OBBa BBQ in Singapore, you can enjoy three types of DDuBoki: RosΓ© DDuboki, classic DDukboki, and Seafood DDukboki loaded with various kinds of seafood.
First, RosΓ© DDukboki combines cream sauce and tomato sauce to optimize a smooth, savory flavor, offering a richer taste. It's an ideal choice for those who might find spicy food challenging or for sharing with local friends. The pinkish sauce, reminiscent of a rose, is visually captivating as well.
Of course, the traditional spicy DDukboki is a timeless classic that needs no introduction! Topped with mozzarella cheese, it delivers an even richer, more indulgent flavor, adding a creamy texture to your enjoyment.
Next is the Seafood DDukboki. Packed with an abundance of seafood such as mussels and fish cakes, this dish boasts a deep and savory umami taste that’s truly irresistible. The generously added boiled eggs not only soothe your spice-tickled tongue but also elevate the dish to perfection. This is a must-try menu item that we highly recommend!
As a pioneer of Korean cuisine in Singapore, O.BBa is dedicated to presenting authentic Korean dishes with a strong sense of mission. We once again recommend enjoying the various DDukboki dishes O.BBa offers, paired with the essence of Korean culture, Maggolli. This combination will not only help balance the spiciness but also allow you to experience the charm of Korea.
The charm of Korean cuisine that Chef Edward Lee mentioned deeply resonated with me, as it aligns perfectly with the philosophy that O.BBa pursues. "Korean food is made with love and care, wanting to feed others abundantly." Keeping in mind the Korean culinary charm of "consideration that comes from leaving for others behind," O.BBa will strive to be a place that can care for and feed our precious customers even more abundantly. Thank you.
